Board of Health · Meeting of January 20, 2026
DUXBURY — The Board of Health agreed to recommend a resident for its vacant alternate seat and began planning an e-bike safety response. Applicant Klaus Jensen had withdrawn, leaving a patent attorney identified only as Michael, who said he sees the board as a way to communicate science to the public. Members said a filled alternate seat helps secure a quorum, and the Select Board makes the appointment.
Resident Mary Lambert urged e-bike rules, pointing to a Plymouth proposal. Members agreed to contact Select Board liaison Brian Glennon, ask a grant collaborative epidemiologist for help, and revisit the topic next month. Members also approved a backlog of 2024 and 2025 minutes unanimously.
