Carver Cranberry Baseball League has posted specific game dates for its fall season, including several matchups at Carver's own fields.
CARVER -- Carver Cranberry Baseball League, also known as Bog Town Little League, has released game times and locations for its fall schedule, with several contests set to be played at Carver Fields.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- According to the league's website, Carver Fields will host a Plymouth 4 squad against the Minor/Major Grey team on Sept. 16 at 5:15 p.m. at the Rookie/Minor diamond, and Halifax against the Minor/Major Blue team the same evening at 5:30 p.m. under the lights at the Majors field. On Sept. 19, Carver Fields' Rookie/Minor diamond is scheduled to host a T-Ball matchup between the Blue and Maroon squads at 9 a.m., followed by a Rookie division game between Blue and Maroon at 10:30 a.m. The league, which serves players from Pre-K through sixth grade, describes itself as "fully volunteer based" and says it welcomes residents interested in getting involved through its "Dibs" volunteer page.
The brief is short this week: high school sports had no games reported for the period, and Carver Youth Soccer Association's website content on travel registration remains the same information already circulated in prior weeks.
