Carver Cranberry Baseball League has released its fall season calendar, with Rookie division practices set to begin in September and games running into October.

CARVER -- Carver Cranberry Baseball League, also known as Bog Town Little League and serving players Pre-K through sixth grade, posted a new slate of fall practices and games on its website.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- According to the league's site, Rookie Blue and Rookie Maroon squads each have practice scheduled for Sept. 8 at 5:15 p.m. at Carver Elementary School's Field 1.

Game action begins Sept. 12, with T-Ball Maroon facing T-Ball Blue at 9 a.m. and Rookie Maroon facing Rookie Blue at 10:30 a.m., both at Carver Fields' Rookie/Minor diamond. The same T-Ball and Rookie matchups repeat Sept. 19, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, with home and away designations alternating between the Blue and Maroon squads each week.

The league describes itself as fully volunteer-run and says it welcomes anyone interested in helping out, directing prospective volunteers to its Dibs sign-up page.

No Carver High School contests were listed in the period, and no new items were reported by Carver Youth Soccer Association beyond its previously announced travel program registration.
