Hull Select Board approves seasonal licenses, enters executive session on manager contract

HULL — April 22, 2026 — Hull Select Board approves seasonal licenses and schedules citizens' petition debate before town meeting. The board voted unanimously Wednesday to renew seasonal all-alcohol, entertainment, and common victual licenses for Tipsy Tuna, Doctors Island Brewing, Shipwrecked, and The Drift, and approved a new automatic amusement license — covering a pool table, golden tee, darts, and digital games — for Tipsy Tuna. The Hull Yacht Club renewal passed four to zero, with board member Jason McCann abstaining because his spouse serves on the yacht club's executive board. Neighbor Dr. Carrie Farley told the board that a sound wall erected before the 2025 season at Tipsy Tuna had helped but that live music did not always end at the required 11 p.m. cutoff, while town records showed two documented noise complaints after the wall was completed. The board voted unanimously to place warrant articles 35 through 44 — the 10 citizens' petition articles — on the April 29 agenda for discussion, the last Select Board meeting before Annual Town Meeting. The board closed with a five to zero roll-call vote to enter executive session on the town manager's contract.
