Marshfield DPW Board Raises Water, Sewer, and Trash Rates for FY27

Marshfield Board of Public Works raises all three utility rates and authorizes PFAS planning grant. The board voted 3-0 Monday to increase annual water rates 4 percent to $499, sewer rates 7 percent to $1,059, and solid waste rates from $498 to $540, citing rising disposal costs, escalating debt service on the Plymouth Avenue pump station, and looming PFAS compliance investments.
