Norwell Opens In-Person Early Voting For State Primary

Town Hall opened in-person early voting hours for the state primary election, giving Norwell residents their first chance this cycle to cast ballots ahead of Election Day.

The Town Clerk's office announced in-person early voting hours for the state primary election, effective July 30, marking the formal start of the town's election season activity. Residents can find specific hours and locations through the Town Clerk's office channels, and the office reminded voters that its regular services will otherwise continue on the standard town hall schedule.

Separately, Norwell was awarded $7,053 in safety equipment funding earlier this month, a grant the town has been highlighting as part of its public safety investment efforts. The town also continues to operate under Tier 4 water restrictions, first announced in June, as the summer dry stretch continues to strain local water supplies.

The Board of Health also issued informational guidance regarding cyclospora, a parasitic illness that has drawn increased public health attention this summer, urging residents to stay informed on food-safety precautions.

The Norwell Public Library continues to promote its July newsletter, highlighting the library's slate of ongoing children's, teen, and adult programming available through its events calendar.
