Plymouth Youth Hockey sets head coaches for 2026-2027 season

PLYMOUTH -- Youth sports organizations here are turning the page toward the winter and spring seasons, with new coaching announcements from the ice and early scheduling details from the lacrosse fields.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Plymouth Youth Hockey has released its head coach list for the 2026-2027 season, covering Co-Ed teams from 6U through 14U, the Girls program (GU10, GU12, GU14), Middle School squads, and the Learn to Play group. Confirmed head coaches include Emily Mazzola (6U and GU10), Chris Plourde (8U B White), Matt Kelly (8U B Blue), Mike Smith (8U C Red), Brandon McSorley (10U B), Dan Quill (10U C and MS White), Pat Higgins (12U A), Tom Latham (12U B), DJ Cicotte (14U) and Jennifer Mulvaney (MS Red); several Girls and Middle School slots remain TBD. The organization also announced that assistant coach registration is now open, noting that applicants should contact their team's head coach before applying.

Plymouth Youth Lacrosse thanked families for the 2026 season and confirmed that registration for the 2027 season will open in January, with Learn to Play registration opening in April 2027. The group also released its 2027 game schedule, with the season opener set for Sunday, April 4, 2027, games running every Sunday through May 16 (including both Sundays of April Break and Mother's Day), and a season-ending weekend on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23. The NHYLA Festival is scheduled for June 5-6, 2027. USA Lacrosse Membership will be required for all 2027 players.
