Scituate's 10U softball team claimed the District 8 championship, headlining a run of end-of-season honors for Scituate Little League.

SCITUATE -- The Scituate Little League homepage is showcasing a string of division championships and all-star milestones as the spring season winds down and summer play gets underway.

**YOUTH LEAGUES**

On the softball side, Scituate's 10U squad captured the District 8 title, the league announced. The Majors baseball division crowned Gallagher Landscaping as its champion, while Hoffman Property Management took the Farm division title. The Minors and Juniors divisions each held All-Star Games, and the league also hosted its "Queen of the Diamonds 2026" event.

The Scituate Basketball Association has no activity to report for the holiday week. The SBA's 2026 Big Al 3-on-3 tournament — held in memory of Al Kazlousky — took place June 13, prior to this period. Registration for the 2026–27 winter travel season is set to open in September, with tryouts scheduled for the week of October 20.
