Wareham Library Announces Fall Concert, Storytime Lineup

WAREHAM — The Wareham Free Library unveiled a run of fall programming this week, headlined by a Sept. 28 concert from singer-songwriter Meghan Cary, a new family storytime series, and a comics workshop for teens and tweens, all as the library's annual summer book sale wraps up this weekend.

COMMUNITY & ARTS The Wareham Free Library's Fall Concert Series opens Monday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. with a performance by singer-songwriter Meghan Cary. The library also announced Fall Family Storytime, a weekly session running Tuesdays from Sept. 15 through Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m., and a Cara Bean Comics and Mindful Doodling Workshop for teens and tweens set for Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m.

The Friends of the Wareham Free Library's book sale continues at the library through Saturday, part of the Friends group's ongoing fundraising efforts to support library programs.

COMING UP The Friends of the Wareham Free Library Book Sale runs through Saturday, Aug. 22, at the library, 59 Marion Road. The library's Fall Concert Series featuring Meghan Cary is set for Monday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m., and its Cara Bean Comics and Mindful Doodling Workshop for teens and tweens is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. Fall Family Storytime begins Tuesday, Sept. 15, and runs weekly through Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. A kayaking outing, Spring into Summer Kayaking, is planned for Saturday, Aug. 29, at Riverside Beach.
