Water Commissioners · Meeting of August 17, 2026
WEST BRIDGEWATER — The Water Commissioners approved an organizational framework for a combined DPW and water superintendent on Aug. 17. The plan keeps the water department under the commission, with an assistant superintendent answering to it, and splits salary 50-50 in later years after about $30,000 from water this year. An engineer reported ARPA funds cut the Manley Street loan principal by about $500,000.
Members also reviewed PFAS test results of 4.59, 5.66 and 3.94 at three stations, and a $28,000 gas service quote for the Sear-Norman project.
