YOUTH LEAGUES -- Registration is open for the Whitman-Hanson Youth Soccer fall season, which the league describes on its website as "a recreational program focused on providing a relaxed, fun environment for players to learn soccer fundamentals, build teamwork, and practice good sportsmanship." All divisions are priced at $110, according to the site, and cover three age groups: Midweek Mini-Kickers for ages 3-5, Saturday Morning Instructional for pre-K and kindergarten, and Saturday Recreation for grades 1-9. The league's website states that registration "will remain open from now through mid-July."
