Disclosed Halifax Home Prices Range From $450 To $660 This Period
HALIFAX -- Eight properties changed hands in Halifax between July 17 and Aug. 15, according to Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records, but a sale price was disclosed in only three of those transactions.
MARKET OVERVIEW The registry recorded eight deed transfers in Halifax during the period. Of those, three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $450 to $660, with a median of $630 among the disclosed sales. The remaining five transfers, more than half of the total, did not include a consideration amount in the deed record. Based on the raw count alone, eight recorded transfers over a four-week span represents a moderate volume of activity for the town.
TOP SALES 350 Elm Street topped the disclosed sales at $660, recorded July 29. Joseph T. Hite sold the property to William Theodore McLaughlin and Chloe Smith.
236 Thompson Street sold for $630 on July 21. Edward and Jessica Wronski sold the property to Harold L. Dunn IV.
83 McClelland Road sold for $450 on July 24. The seller was the Gould Family Revocable Trust, with David A. Gould as trustee; no buyer was listed in the deed record.
NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN No street recorded more than one sale during the period, so no street-level cluster emerged. Among the three disclosed sales, Thompson Street at $630 and Elm Street at $660 fell in the upper half of the range, while McClelland Road's $450 sale was the period's lowest disclosed price. The five transfers without a disclosed price were spread across Holmes Street, Danson Lane, South Street and Oak Street, plus one property whose street address was not specified in the deed record.
