YOUTH LEAGUES -- Duxbury Youth Hockey has opened registration for the 2026-2027 season, with tryouts scheduled for later this month, according to the organization's website. The program is also running a "Free 26-27 Tuition Raffle," with $100 entries for a chance to win a season of free tuition, described on the site as a $2,000 value.

The organization also outlined its "Dux Devo" program for players new to the sport. It includes two practices per week and a weekend game: Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m., the latter followed by doughnuts, per the website. Dux Devo players also take part in Bay State Hockey League U6 games on weekends at "the Bog." The website notes that participation in games is optional for those who prefer not to compete.
