The board voted unanimously Monday to adopt $1,025,708 as its fiscal year 2027 indirect cost estimate for the town's enterprise funds, explicitly invoking a signed agreement with the Select Board requiring that enterprise fund offsets be deducted from the total — a methodology the board said the town's current warrant does not reflect. A board member reported that the Assessors Office confirmed it provides no services to the enterprise funds, yet a roughly $46,000 assessors line item appeared in the town's indirect cost submission. The board also awarded four service contracts: a one-year extension of a mechanical services agreement with DNC Construction of Weymouth; a pump and motor repair contract with Seacoast Supply of Rockton not to exceed $50,000 annually; a three-year cured-in-place pipe lining contract with Instaform Technologies LLC at $150,000 per year, covering roughly 12,500 linear feet of asbestos concrete sewer main over the contract term; and a sole-source rebuild kit agreement with Penn Valley Pump Company of Warrington, Pennsylvania, at $15,000 annually.
