Plympton Select Board Continues SLT Construction Earth Removal Hearing to June 16

PLYMPTON — May 7, 2026 — Plympton Select Board postpones SLT Construction earth removal hearing to June 16 after a scheduling conflict left the board short a member. The board opened the public hearing Thursday on an application by SLT Construction Corporation for an earth removal permit under Plympton's Earth Removal By-Law, but took no testimony. When the applicant proposed June 9 as a continuance date, a board member disclosed he would be out of state that week, leaving only two members available. The board voted unanimously to reset the hearing to June 16, 2026, at 5 p.m., where substantive review of the application will begin.
