Wareham Library Adds Fall Storytime and Teen Comics Workshop

WAREHAM — Wareham Free Library is adding two new fall programs, a family storytime series and a teen comics workshop, while the town's calendar sends residents to Riverside Beach for a kayaking outing this weekend.

The Wareham Free Library announced a new Fall Family Storytime series that will run Tuesdays from Sept. 15 through Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m., giving families a weekly evening story hour as the school year gets underway.

The library is also hosting a Comics & Mindful Doodling Workshop for teens and tweens on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m., led by Cara Bean. The session pairs comic-drawing instruction with mindfulness exercises for younger patrons.

Residents looking for an outdoor outing can join Spring into Summer Kayaking at Riverside Beach on Saturday, Aug. 29.
