Wareham Little League opens fall season registration for players ages 3 1/2 to 12.

WAREHAM -- Wareham Little League has opened registration for its 2026 fall season, with sign-ups available online for four age divisions.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Wareham Little League's fall ball registration covers Tee Ball (ages 3 1/2 to 5 1/2), Farm League (ages 6 to 8), Minor League (ages 9 to 12) and Major League (ages 9 to 12), according to the league's website. All players will be evaluated for placement in the Minor Division "to ensure even placements are made," while the Major Division holds tryouts each year, with information emailed to families annually.

The league says it is "making a comeback and building up Wareham baseball" and is in the midst of a complex makeover, with the site inviting the public to follow daily progress updates on the project.

Team Gateway Baseball, described on the Little League site as a local, affordable private club for players ages 8 to 16, is inviting all Wareham Little League registered players to free indoor winter workouts for 2026. The club says it offers individual and group lessons, clinics and skill-building classes, with player development as its "main priority" over wins. Players must try out for Team Gateway and must also play town ball to be eligible.

The league also points graduating 12-year-olds toward Gateway Babe Ruth, which serves players ages 12 to 16, as the next step after Little League.

Separately, Wareham Little League is continuing a business sponsorship drive, with Gold ($950), Silver ($500) and Bronze ($250) donation levels offering signage, website recognition and social media shoutouts. The league, a nonprofit that says it has served Wareham youth for nearly 70 years, asks that donations be sent to P.O. Box 614, Wareham, MA 02571.
