Zoning Board · Meeting of August 11, 2026

HULL — The Hull Zoning Board of Appeals heard hours of argument over whether to reverse the Planning Board's denial of site plan review for a nine-unit waterfront building at 839-845 Nantasket Avenue, then recessed without a vote. Chair Richard Hennessey presided with voting members Ed Parsons and Tony May, while attorney Adam Brodsky argued for petitioner The Point Nantasket Realty LLC that the Planning Board's May 19 denial relied on improper grounds, including a requirement for a physical scale model the LLC says it replaced with computer-generated 3D renderings. LLC attorney Chris Reel disputed a Planning Board finding of a "dangerous roadway condition" at Fitzpatrick Way and Nantasket Avenue, saying it contradicted the town's own peer reviewer, Chessia Consulting.

A Planning Board representative identified only as Megan said the board had not yet fully responded, citing a lack of quorum, and the hearing recessed after roughly three hours with no continuation date announced on the recording.
