Kingston assessors were told revaluation field work is about a month behind schedule. Maureen Clark gave the Board of Assessors its office update Tuesday, saying the company doing the work should finish field work by the end of this week and that she hoped to have numbers within a week after that. She said she has been "calling and emailing the company constantly" and can withhold pay, and that classification might come in mid-November.
Clark also brought a contract for cyclical inspections running through December 31 that was not on the agenda. The board reviewed one conference bill and a local receipts memo, set its next meeting for Oct. 13, and moved into executive session on abatement applications.
