Hull Select Board Approves Licenses, Reappointments at Routine January Meeting

HULL — January 14, 2026 — Hull Select Board approves routine licenses and reappointments, hears dune enforcement update. The board voted unanimously Wednesday on a slate of one-day wine and malt licenses for the Hull Lifesaving Museum and a fun run permit, and reappointed General Counsel Me, Talamon, and Costa, LLC and Labor and Employment Counsel Clifford and Kenny for another year. Town Manager John Rui announced the Conservation Commission had issued an enforcement order against the owner of 169 Beach Avenue for excavating the primary dune and illegally connecting to a water main within the dune system, with a January 22 disconnection deadline, a February 9 restoration plan requirement, and a March 15 dune repair order. The town also secured a $278,400 Seaport Economic Council grant for the Pemberton Pier commuter float, and staff received an unsolicited inquiry from the City of Boston seeking to learn from Hull's climate adaptation and resiliency programs.
