Conservation · Meeting of October 20, 2026
West Bridgewater's Conservation Commission continued a hearing on wetland violations at a Walnut Street landscaping yard to November 3. Engineer Eric Dias of Strong Point Engineering, representing owner Rodrigo Dos Anjos and manager Lynn Gibbons, proposed restoring 5,800 square feet of disturbed wetland one-to-one, replicating a filled isolated wetland two-to-one at 10,000 square feet, and placing a nearly four-acre conservation restriction on the property. Abutter Sherry Robbins of 553 Walnut Street told the board she has "been hit almost two times and killed by Angels Landscaping trucks," opposing any changes.
The commission also continued hearings for Zero Bryant Street and Zero Copeland Street to November 3, issued an emergency certification for Forest Street Bridge repairs, and approved a certificate of compliance for a 6 Crescent Street drainage system after a fourth engineering review found it functioned properly in an eight-inch rainstorm.
