Zoning Board · Meeting of August 18, 2026
Hull's Zoning Board of Appeals closed testimony on a contested Nantasket Avenue site plan appeal and set deliberations for September 2. Chair Hennessey, with voting members Ed Parsons and Tony May, voted 3-0 to close the hearing after attorneys for The Point Nantasket Realty LLC and the Planning Board sparred over a May 19 denial. Attorney Winter, representing the Planning Board, argued the board lacked adequate time and information after six revised submissions arrived two days before its May 14 meeting.
Attorney Brodsky, for the applicant, called the finding over unpaid peer-review fees "factually inaccurate," saying "there's nothing in the record regarding the failure of the LLC to pay peer review fees." He also said the evening had been "patently unfair" to his client. The board will deliberate September 2 at 7 p.m. without taking further testimony.
