HINGHAM — Hingham voters will notice new ballot colors and an earlier start to in-person voting ahead of the September 1 state primary, according to a report from the Hingham Anchor. Separately, the Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant has taken over customer service duties for water billing from Veolia for area ratepayers.

HMLP announced it has assumed customer service responsibilities for Water/Sewer Resource Services billing that were previously handled by Veolia, affecting Hull and North Cohasset customers.
