Lakeville board approves driveway, greenhouse permits

Conservation Commission · Meeting of September 22, 2026

Lakeville Conservation Commission clears two minor projects, pushes four hearings to October. The board approved negative determinations for a driveway replacement at 13 Twin Oaks Road and a backyard greenhouse with a crushed stone or concrete pad, the latter contingent on the applicant amending paperwork to cover either material. Conservation Agent Mark Minton noted a separate property remains protected by a state COVID-era tolling law, meaning no extension filing is needed for roughly two more years.

Notices of intent for 150 Bedford Street, 0 Myrick Street and a Montgomery/Green Lot Circle property, plus a delineation for 240 Kenneth Welch Drive, were all continued to October 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the police station meeting room. Members also debated a proposed $25 fee for late continuance requests, with one member saying the office needs to "put the onus on the applicant in writing."
