LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Conservation Commission approved a certificate of compliance for the Belloway subdivision's roadway and drainage work and continued six other wetland hearings to September 8. Project engineer Jamie Bissonette of Zenith Consulting Engineers said Belloway's drainage "seems stabilized for the most part," with only a Planning Board-required fence and buffer plantings still outstanding outside conservation jurisdiction. On a separate Montgomery Street lot, Conservation Agent Mark Minton questioned Department of Environmental Protection fill-area flags he traced to pre-2003 horse stalls, while an abutter recalled 2010 flooding and called a proposed house lot "a big no-no." The commission also delayed a decision on whether a zero Myrick Street project qualifies for "limited project" status under state wetlands rules, with Minton saying "I don't ever recall anybody requesting a limited project status" locally, pending input from the commission's peer reviewer and a Taunton traffic study expected by late October.
