Conservation Commission · Meeting of October 13, 2026

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Conservation Commission voted 4-1 to approve an order of conditions for a long-delayed Montgomery Street home and septic system, with Chair Nancy Yeatts dissenting because the board never inspected the house site itself. Engineer Kevin Davis of ET Engineering said the Army Corps of Engineers cleared the property's cranberry bog as non-jurisdictional, ending a review that began in February. Owner-applicant Cody said his family has been "stuck living in a mobile home" while waiting.

The commission also continued two contested hearings, a new home near a golf-course reservoir on Reservoir Avenue and a horse barn and corral at 52 Fuller Shores Road, to October 27, as members weighed the town's wetland bylaw, effective October 5, which sets a 25-foot no-disturbance buffer. Vice Chair Mark Knox recused himself from a separate application on his own Pierce Avenue property, which the board approved.
