The commission also approved minor project changes for adjacent warehouses at 38 and 40 United Drive, allowing stone and riprap to replace originally permitted grass on steep rear slopes within the 50-foot buffer zone.

A certificate of compliance was issued for a property linked to the Temple Baptist Church location, clearing the way for a property sale scheduled the following Monday — the order of conditions, approved in 2024 for a septic upgrade and wetland buffer work, had never been formally closed. Commission staff also noted that the Shell gas station at 506 West Center Street is now closed for an expected six months while redevelopment proceeds, after the operator determined that demolishing the former car wash — through which all site electrical service runs — requires shutting down the entire station.
