HANSON -- Eight property transfers were recorded in Hanson between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only three of the deeds disclosed a sale price, limiting how much the data reveals about the local market this period.

The remaining five of the eight recorded transfers listed no sale price, which is common for deed records and does not necessarily indicate the properties changed hands without payment. Eight recorded transfers over four weeks is a moderate count on its own; no prior-period figures were provided for comparison, so it is not possible to say whether this represents a faster or slower pace than usual for Hanson.

TOP SALES The highest disclosed sale was at 258 State St., which sold July 15 for $800. The sellers were listed as Sarah E. Gabriel, trustee, and Lauren A. Wheeler, trustee; the buyer was Douglas DiBona. A property recorded in Hanson with no street address specified in the deed sold July 13 for $450; the sellers were Scott A. Siereveld and David A. Siereveld, and the buyers were Kelsey A. Croghan and Stephen J. Croghan III. The property at 822 Whitman St. sold July 10 for $625, at the median for disclosed sales; the sellers were Dian L. Black and the estate of Pauline Gertrude Black, and the buyers were Liza M. Telford and Ryan Lenane. Beds, baths and square footage were not available in the deed records for any of these sales.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN State Street had two recorded transfers this period, at 258 State St. ($800, disclosed) and 150 State St. (price not disclosed), the only street with more than one transaction in the data set. Hawe, trustee; the transfer at 218 Crescent St., where Amanda C. Turini, together with the estate of Mildred H. Landry, transferred the property to Amanda C. Turini; the transfer at 150 State St. between the Pishkin Family Protection Trust and the Pishkin Family Revocable Trust; the transfer at 679 Gorwin Dr., where Kathleen F. Moriarty transferred the property to herself as trustee; and the transfer at 260 Gray Ln. between the Anthony R. Fedele Family Trust and the Debra A. Fedele Family Trust. The deed records do not indicate whether any of the properties are single-family homes, condominiums or multi-family units, and no square footage was available for any of the eight transactions, so price-per-square-foot comparisons could not be made.
