Nominal-consideration transfers dominate as Mattapoisett records just two priced sales

MATTAPOISETT -- Of the 10 property transfers recorded at the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds for Mattapoisett between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, eight moved for nominal consideration into family trusts, leaving just two transactions with a recorded market price.

Eight were nominal-consideration transfers, recorded for $10 or less, that moved property from individuals to trusts or, in one case, between the same two names.
