KINGSTON -- Five recorded home sales closed in Kingston between late August and late September, with prices spanning $270,000 to $749,900 and a median of $535,000, while three additional deed transfers recorded during the same period were nominal-consideration transactions rather than market sales.

MARKET OVERVIEW Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records show five sales with recorded prices in Kingston from Aug. 28 through Sept. 26. Prices ranged from $270,000 to $749,900, with a median of $535,000. Three other deeds recorded in the same window carried only nominal consideration, typically $1 to $10, and are not counted as market sales. Five sales over a four-week span is a modest level of transaction activity for the town based on the raw count alone.

TOP SALES The highest-priced sale was 8 Copper Beech Dr, which sold for $749,900 on Sept. 3. The sellers were Daniel S. Oberist and Tracy L. Oberist; the buyers were Cameron R. Collier and Anna L. Brown. At 54 Cole St, the property sold for $740,000 on Sept. 2; the seller was listed as the Mahoney Family Trust with Michael J. Mahoney as trustee, and the buyers were David A. Sugrue and Corinne M. Sugrue. At 38 Summer St, the sale closed for $535,000 on Sept. 3; sellers Kara Conway and Brian Patterson II sold to buyers Richard Jacobson and Grayce Tate. At 3 Marsh Rd, the property sold for $340,000 on Sept. 3, with Susan Moore selling to Daniel A. Dirocco. At 264 Elm St, the sale recorded at $270,000 on Aug. 28; the sellers, Dominique Maribett, trustee, and Ronald L. Maribett, sold to buyers Constance A. Maribett and Wildlands Trust Inc. Both the seller and one buyer on the Elm Street deed share the Maribett surname.
