Median Sale Price Reaches $570 as Rockland Records Dozen Deeds

ROCKLAND -- Twelve deeds were recorded in Rockland during the four weeks ending Aug. 1, according to Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records, with a $790 sale on Custer Street topping the disclosed transactions and two separate sales recorded on Market Street.

MARKET OVERVIEW The registry recorded 12 property transfers in Rockland from July 3 through Aug. 1. Of those, nine included a disclosed consideration amount, ranging from $150 to $790, with a median of $570 among the disclosed sales. Three transfers did not include a disclosed price. Based on the raw count alone, a dozen recorded deeds over four weeks amounts to roughly three transfers per week; no prior-period data was provided for comparison, so this report does not characterize the pace as active or quiet relative to other months.

Rounding out the top five, 27 Stanton St. sold for $570 on July 15; sellers were Ryan E. Britton and Lee Britton III, and buyers were Brad Spatola and Colleen Dowie.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Market Street had two recorded sales in the period: 411 Market St. ($640) and 823 Market St. ($500). No other street had more than one disclosed-price sale. MacDonald and the estate of Donna J. MacDonald) with RAB LLC as buyer for $465; RAB LLC was also the buyer at 597 Liberty St. for $485, the seller there being Robert W. Stevens.
