MATTAPOISETT -- Eight properties changed hands in Mattapoisett between July 24 and Aug. 22, according to deeds recorded at the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds, but only three of those transactions listed a sale price, limiting what can be drawn about the local market this period.

The registry recorded eight deed transfers in the four-week period. Of those, three disclosed a consideration amount, ranging from $415 to $925, with a median of $585 among the disclosed sales. The remaining five transfers, the majority of the period's activity, did not include a sale price in the recorded deed, which is common for transfers among family members or into trusts. TOP SALES

The highest-priced disclosed transaction was a $925 sale of a Mattapoisett property, with the specific street address not listed in the deed record. The property transferred from seller Charlotte Oliveira, also named as trustee of the Charlotte Oliveira Trust, to buyers Marcus Baptiste and Taunya Baptiste, recorded July 28.

The second-highest disclosed sale was 1 Barlow Lane, which sold for $585. Sellers Ryan Patrick Murphy and Erica Murphy transferred the property to buyer Laurel J. Carlson, recorded July 24.

The third disclosed sale was 7 Marina Drive, at $415. The property transferred from sellers Sherri Panek, as conservator, and Michele Apshaga, by conservator, to R Property Investment LLC, recorded July 31.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

No two recorded sales this period shared a street name, so no street-level cluster emerged.
