SCITUATE -- Ten property transfers were recorded in Scituate between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only one of those deeds disclosed a sale price, leaving most of the period's market activity unmeasured in dollar terms.

MARKET OVERVIEW Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records show 10 property transfers in Scituate during the four-week period. Only one, the Aug. 17 transfer of 76 Dreamwold Rd., listed a disclosed consideration amount: $820. That figure sets the period's price range and median by default, at $820, but it reflects a single deed rather than a broad sample of sales. The other nine transfers were recorded as price not disclosed, which is common for family, trust and estate transfers. Based on raw transaction count alone, 10 filings in four weeks is a measurable volume of activity, but no conclusion about pricing trends can be drawn given how few considerations were disclosed.
