Norwell Home Prices Span $600,000 To $2.4 Million In Late Summer

NORWELL -- Seven properties sold in Norwell between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, with prices ranging from $600,000 to $2,399,000, according to deeds recorded at the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds. Four additional transfers recorded in the same period carried only nominal consideration and are not counted as market sales.

MARKET OVERVIEW Eleven total property transfers were recorded during the period, but only seven carried a disclosed market sale price, ranging from $600,000 to $2,399,000. The median sale price among those seven was $990,000. With seven priced sales in roughly four weeks, the period shows a moderate volume of market activity based on the raw count alone; no comparison to prior months or regional figures is available from this data.

TOP SALES The highest-priced transaction was 5 Harbor Ln, which sold for $2,399,000 on Aug. 21. The seller was listed as ALR Homes LLC, and the buyers were Colleen M. D. Somich, trustee, and Philip J. Somich, trustee.

264 River St sold for $1,700,000 on Aug. 19. The sellers were Kamila Rihova and Roger L. Allaire Jr., and the buyers were Jeffrey A. Boyd and Andrea L. Boyd.

47 Fords Crossing sold for $1,545,000 on Aug. 25. The sellers were Kenneth J. Poletti, trustee, and Cornelia Q. Poletti, trustee, and the buyer was George Hatzopoulos, trustee of a revocable trust.

4 Pleasant St sold for $990,000 on Aug. 21. The sellers were Jeremy N. Ford and Amina A. Ford, and the buyers were Roland Soos and Diana Bogacs.

12 Walnut Rd sold for $840,000 on Aug. 19. The sellers were listed as the Casella Family Trust and James C. Casella Jr., trustee, and the buyers were Kenneth Lawlor and Ann Lawlor.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN No street had more than one sale with a recorded price during the period, so sales are grouped by price tier.
