ROCHESTER -- Four properties changed hands at recorded prices in Rochester between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, with sale prices ranging from $375,000 to $859,000, while four additional deeds recorded only nominal consideration, pointing to transfers among family members or into trusts rather than open-market sales.

MARKET OVERVIEW The Plymouth County Registry of Deeds recorded eight total property transfers in Rochester during the period. Of those, four carried recorded sale prices, ranging from $375,000 to $859,000, with a median sale price of $787,500. The other four transfers recorded only nominal consideration, typically $1 to $10, and are not counted toward the price range or median because they do not reflect market transactions. TOP SALES The highest-priced sale was 28 Marion Rd, which sold for $859,000 on Aug. 28. Nelson Bernardo was the seller and Lauren E. Stevens the buyer. Bed, bath and square footage figures were not available in the deed record.

The second-highest sale was 247 Braley Hill Rd, which sold for $855,000 on Aug. 28. Oliveira Investment Inc. was the seller and Xerxes Robert Silva the buyer.
