Whitman home sale prices range from $470,000 to $615,000 in August

WHITMAN -- Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records show 10 property transfers in Whitman during the period July 31 through Aug. 29, but only five carried a recorded sale price, with the rest reflecting nominal-consideration transfers rather than market sales.

MARKET OVERVIEW

Of the 10 recorded deeds, five included a sale price ranging from $470,000 to $615,000, with a median of $550,000. The other five were nominal-consideration transfers, each recording a token amount under $10,000 that does not reflect market value and is excluded from the price range and median calculations. With only five priced sales recorded, the period reflects limited sales activity relative to the total deed volume, though three additional deeds may still receive pricing data in the coming days, as is typical for the registry.

Smith conveyed the property to buyers Eric and Catherine Brunelle. 289 Commercial St. sold for $599,000 on Aug. 7; the sellers were listed as Commercial St Realty Trust and Kevin Perkins, trustee, with Kelley A. Chuckran as buyer. 214 Winter St. sold for $550,000 on Aug. 10; Gilbert Casimir sold to Ronald Homere. 22 Old Coach Rd. sold for $470,000 on Aug. 10; sellers Christopher W. Shaw and the estate of Christina A. Shaw conveyed the property to New View Homes Inc. 255 Franklin St. also sold for $470,000 on Aug. 3; sellers James L. Vera and Karen Gordon conveyed to buyer Joel Gordon. Beds, baths and square footage were not available in the deed data for any of these transactions.
